I explore flea markets, thrift stores, and junk stops up and down the kitschy vintage wonderland that is Florida. Grab your bag and some cash, let's go on a thrifting adventure...!
I hope you enjoyed the thrift adventure! Are you going on any vintage hunting adventures while you vacation this summer? Do tell!

ReplyDeleteIndeed it was, I cleaned him out! :) Almost all of the finds in this post were from him: http://www.thriftcore.com/2012/06/thrift-haul-finding-toys-mod-and-kitsch.html
DeleteIf you took me to the Red Barn I'm afraid I would never leave!
ReplyDeleteIt's definitely the kind of shopping trip that could consume the entire day if you let it!
DeleteVery nice! One day I must make it down south to thrift shop! that is a HUGE place - my head would probably explode with excitement ----so many treasures!
ReplyDeleteYes indeed, it was mostly the new made in China and Bali type stuff but there was lots of vintage spread inbetween!
DeleteI had three out of the five f'ing cute toys for my kids. I might have to go see this place for myself. Definitely intrigued.
ReplyDeleteI do seem to recall the dog one from childhood somehow. It's definitely worth checking out, and after vintage hunting inside, you can journey outdoors and scoop up a week's worth of quality veggies from dubious source. Yum!
DeleteVery cool!
ReplyDeleteI'll be going to Bedford, Ohio. My boyfriend tells me it's very "ghetto" out there, but I'm wondering how it measures to Detroit? I have been going to Detroit since I was a child. Now, Detroit is "ghetto". He told me when I find the thrifts via Google he has to assess the area first...
Anyone know any good thrifts in the Bedford, Ohio area? Or in the cities surrounding?
Good luck to you! Wish I had more info. If I were you I'd give it a try in the spirit of adventure, naturally!
DeleteAh! This place looks phenomenal! Too bad we don't have anything like that anywhere I've been in Virginia!
ReplyDeleteThere's a large variety of interesting thrifty places down here!
DeleteThis look like buckets of fun... one word... JEALOUS! lol. Thanks for sharing, you made your rounds in only 60 minutes!!!

ReplyDeleteI’m amazed, I must say. Rarely do I come across a blog that’s both educative and interesting, and without a doubt, you’ve hit the nail on the head. The problem is something not enough men and women are speaking intelligently about. I’m very happy that I stumbled across this during my search for something regarding this.
